Be our partner choir for the 2026–27 season!
To all school choirs in Berlin and the surrounding area
Do you sing passionately in a choir and want to learn how the professionals work?
Why does smiling help in the high registers? What should you avoid drinking before a concert? How do you sing “mysteriously”? And how does it feel to sing in five different cities within five different days?
We would like to explore questions like these—and many more—together with you.
The RIAS Kammerchor Berlin invites school choirs from Berlin and the surrounding area to apply for the choir sponsorship project in the 2026–27 school year.
We will accompany you on your musical journey for one school year. At the end, there will be a joint final concert to celebrate our collaboration.
- A 3-4 voice secondary school choir from Berlin or the surrounding area (soprano, alto, tenor, bass)
- Singers who enjoy music and are curious about what it’s like to work in a professional choir
- Coaching & voice training: Learn from our professional singers how to take your voices to a new level.
- Rehearsal visits & concerts: Take a look behind the scenes of our work and experience how singing in a professional chamber choir works.
- Workshops & joint rehearsals: Work directly with our singers and our principal conductor Justin Doyle.
- Grand finale: Your year with us will be crowned with a joint final concert—a highlight for you and your audience!

- A brief introduction to your choir (informal)
- If possible, a video or audio recording of a concert
