What do the Rotunda at the Altes Museum, Spandau Citadel, Kunsthaus Dahlem, and Friedrichswerder Church have in common? They all house sculptures, statues, and works of art. And we provide the perfect soundtrack to accompany them. For more than 20 years, the Forum Concerts of the RIAS Chamber Choir Berlin have consistently been a surprise package: venues we’ve never performed at before, programs featuring the RIAS Chamber Choir singers in ways you’ve never experienced them before. And wherever we’ve lured you so far—you’ve followed us. That delights us and continually inspires us to find venues you haven’t seen yet. We’ve been exploring these places since 2004 with the board of the Friends and Sponsors Association, the Forum der Freunde und Förderer, which initiated the concert series and thus gave it its name. Now the series is launching its 22nd season under the motto “Sound Sculptures” and will continue to serve as an experimental platform where we test a wide variety of formats and venues for their suitability as concert spaces. And in the 2025–26 season, we’ll be able to present four new and exciting venues for you to discover, where you can experience our singers.
