Klingende Bilder Guided tours of the picture gallery

An event as part of the "Klingende Bilder" project at the Gemäldegalerie Berlin.

In "Klingende Bilder", art and music come together in a special tour through the history of Jesus' suffering and death. Christian Mücke, tenor in the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, gives a guided tour of personally selected Passion images in Berlin's Gemäldegalerie. An audio guide provides access to specially recorded choral works by the RIAS Chamber Choir, creating an intense interplay between images, biblical texts and vocal music.

The tour, co-designed by Christian Mücke, opens up new and moving perspectives on the familiar story of suffering and hope, especially during Passiontide.
