Hans-Christoph Rademann

Hans-Christoph Rademann is now one of the most sought-after German choir conductors. While still studying at Dresden University of Music, he founded Dresdner Kammerchor, and soon he and the choir earned an outstanding reputation during tours of all the continents. As the choir director of Norddeutscher Rundfunk, he worked with conductors such as Sir Roger Norrington and Christoph Eschenbach. Hans-Christoph Rademann has also acted as guest conductor for many other leading choirs. He focuses in particular on early music, especially hitherto unknown aspects of Dresden’s musical heritage. In the year 2000, Hans-Christoph Rademann was appointed professor of choir-conducting at Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. He will be the principal conductor of RIAS Kammerchor as of the 2007/08 season.
