Having grown up in eastern Germany, I was more attracted to the Rundfunkchor. But then I learned by chance that the RIAS Kammerchor was looking for tenors. With hindsight, I think I made a good decision because a small choir offers you greater possibilities and you have a distinct feeling that you are needed. Everything is on a simpler and more intimate scale, which really suits me.
