"The atmosphere prevailing in this choir immediately caught my fancy. I am more of a singing technician than a technically gifted singer. Throughout my childhood I couldn’t make up my mind as to which of my gifts should receive priority. I took up music in what may be described as a lateral move, and I feel very much at home here."
