Hannelore Starke

We do not rehearse a programme hurriedly as orchestras often do, but approach it step by step. It is more satifying to practise until you have the feeling that everything falls into place.

In Berlin, the number of music-lovers interested in chamber choir music is relatively small compared with other cities. Perhaps this is because people are traditionally more accustomed to choral singing on a larger scale and are not aware that performances by smaller groups can be fascinating, too. After all, there is special literature for this kind of music. Our concerts attract a relatively small and loyal audience, but there are signs of growing interest.
